Japan team’s head coach Antonio Ortega called 19 players to prepare the 2017 World Championship, among whom the French-Japanese Chambéry winger Rémi Feutrier, back from an injury.
After missing the last two World Championships, Japan will be in France in January, in order to learn, with the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo at the horizon. Head coach Antonio Ortega, who will be replaced by Dagur Sigurdsson after 2017 World Championship, should be able to rely on Chambéry’s left winger Rémi Feutrier, who was injured since october but is included in the list of 19 to prepare the event.
Japan will begin the 2017 World Championship against Russia, on January 12th at Nantes’ Hall XXL, where they will play their four other group A games. Japan will face the host nation, France, on January 13th, and will then play against Brazil (January 15th), Poland (January 17th) and finally Norway (January 19th).
