FYR Macedonia’s right back Kiril Lazarov is the best goalscorer of the 2017 World Championship with 50 goals in only 6 games. It’s the second time Lazarov is the top scorer of a World Championship, after 2009 in Croatia, where he set a new all time record tally with 92 goals.
Norway’s centre or left back Sander Sagosen finished with the most assists in the tournament (43, average 4.8 per game). Selected in the All Star team of the tournament, Sagosen just made one assist more than the 2017 World Championship MVP, Nikola Karabatic (42, average 4.7 per game).
