THE ENTERTAINMENT VILLAGES

Bercy Village Handball 2017

Since the World Championship is a great big party, several cities plan to extend it to public entertainment villages.

PARIS

Inaugurated on January 6th, Bercy Village Handball 2017, installed at the Bercy village in the 12th district of Paris, near the AccorHotels Arena, is both a convivial reception area and a venue for restaurants and events. The available activities include a stand where you can test your throwing accuracy, the digital wall for playing handball and training to be a goalkeeper, and the photocall that was already present and widely appreciated during the various steps of the “Phénoménal Handball” tour in 2016. A photo exhibition by artist Pierre-Alexis, a great fan of sports and urban exploration, is also on the programme. The public will be able to watch all of the World Championship matches on the giant screens in the village’s pubs and other cafés, where phenomenal offers will be available throughout the World Championship thanks to the generosity of the merchants. This unique site, located 10 minutes from the heart of Paris, is also decorated in the competition colours, complete with lighting effects to brighten up the winter evenings. During the 2017 World Championship, Bercy Village Handball 2017 is the essential place to be to keep the party going, a warm and inviting spot for all ticketholders, the many French and foreign fans, as well as curious passersby.
