4000 Challenge: Issy Paris Hand invites you to Coubertin!

As part of the partnership between Issy Paris Hand and the Paris City hall, the women’s club, that plays in the LFH, has for the last five years organised an official Women’s first division match on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 PM. It invites a large audience to attend, generally made up of young Parisians from the leisure centres operated by the Paris City hall, the Mercredis du sport and the various reception services, including the Medical-educational institutes with which the club organises handball workshops for handicapped young people in the morning. Other guests include all of the young girls from the popular neighbourhoods of Paris who are participating in the Hand’Elles programme on Saturday mornings, and who are sponsored by the professional players from Issy Paris. This year, the event is on January 11th, the opening day of the World Championship, with the match of the 10th LFH day, between Issy Paris Hand and Celles. It will take place at the Pierre-de-Coubertin Stadium, where the boys of the PSG Handball normally play, in the presence of many former French world champions. It’s an event not to be missed, the perfect thing to kick off this phenomenal day that will be followed at the Paris AccorHotels Arena with the opening show of the World Championship, then the first match between France and Brazil!
